Corrections
Getting the numbers, the concept, and the exam framing right is the whole point of the EcoNiti Daily Brief. When we get something wrong we correct it — visibly, and with a timestamp that Google and readers can rely on.
1. Flag an error
The fastest way to report an error — a wrong number, a mis-attributed source, a policy-linkage that doesn't hold, or a mistyped answer key — is by email. Please include the story URL and, if possible, a citation to the source you believe is correct.

2. Triage
Corrections are acknowledged within one working day. Substantive errors (numeric, factual, answer-key) are triaged same-day and, where confirmed, patched to the story with a fresh modification timestamp.
Minor typographical or stylistic edits are folded into a rolling clean-up and do not carry a formal correction note.
3. Disclosure
Substantive corrections are noted on the story itself. The story's structured metadata (dateModified) is updated so Google Search, Discover and News reflect the correction promptly.
Where a correction materially changes the takeaway of a story, we say so at the top of the story body.
